              Event Description:
                 The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce along with Connersville TV3, Connersville NewsExaminer, and KMIX (Whitewater Broadcasting Corporation), are hosting a General Election Candidates' Forum. Contested races in the City of Connersville will be included. Residents of Connersville will have the opportunity to hear candidates speak and answer specific questions on the position for which they are running. Candidates for each contested seat were invited to participate. An independent Moderator will control the forum, allowing each candidate to provide an opening and closing statement, and then answer position-specific questions within an allotted time. THIS IS NOT A DEBATE.
              The community is invited to submit questions for the candidates running for the following local positions:
              • Mayor-City of Connersville,
              • City Council at Large,
              • City Council Districts 1-5.
              You have the opportunity to learn where our candidates stand regarding the responsibilities for the seat they wish to fill. You may submit questions for all of the open positions or for just one or two that may be of particular interest to you (your name will remain anonymous). Deadline for submissions is Monday, September 16, at 4PM. You may mail or hand deliver your written questions to the Chamber office: 504 N. Central Avenue (inside of the City Hall building), or email to: gertrud@fayetteINchamber.com Please note next to each question to which seat/position it should be addressed.
