              On Monday, March 18, at 12 Noon, the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, Diplomats, and Board, along with Connersville Mayor Harold Gordon, will celebrate the Grand Opening ribbon-cutting and new Chamber membership for The Castle, at 635 N. Eastern Avenue, Connersville, IN 47331

              Owner Scott Cramer purchased this former nightclub and Elks Lodge in October 2018. He loved the character of the building and knew that with work, he could transform this into something fun. "With its beautiful facade," Scott stated, "this would be a great old-world themed Italian restaurant. A terrific destination place for people to travel here for an experience."

              Since opening, Scott has been working hard to change the image of The Castle from a nightclub to a restaurant. With renovations and careful selection of staff, Scott is slowly advancing his dream. He has a new manager, Julie Harrison, who is the business' main contact and Scott's right hand with daily operations. Also, new chef, Howard Bowlds, came on board and is bringing new creations to the menu. The Castle Restaurant is the only non-smoking lounge in Connersville. According to Scott, "it is the only venue in the county with a Ballroom, full-menu restaurant, and two upscale beer parlors." For questions on venue rentals, call Scott Cramer (765) 265-4747.               The restaurant is open Tuesday thru Thursday: 5pm - 9pm; Friday: 5pm - 1am; Saturday: 1pm - 1am; Sunday: 12pm - 9pm; and, CLOSED Monday.
