    The Big Picture:
    The Industrial Compressors Sr. Sales lead will have the opportunity to utilize their expertise to develop and execute objectives and effect short term and long term business goals in the Howden Compressors Sales division. In addition to technical sales ability, we are looking for someone who can demonstrate sound, independent judgment and decision-making coupled with Sales team leadership the ability to think "big picture" in relation to overall Industrial market.
     

    What needs to be done?
    Lead and promote the sale of Howden products in North America for Industrial; New Build and Aftermarket sales.
    Provide leadership, training and technical support to the 7 new Build Industrial and 4 Aftermarket Industrial direct report sales team members.  Drive business objectives, implement market coverage strategies, leveraging Agents and Sales team at EPC’s and End Users promoting product preference and product line initiatives in the market. Identify, track and bid projects in the North American territory, supporting industry tradeshows and technical organizations.
     

    What do you need to bring?    
    Minimum 10 years sales/ sales management experience
    4 yr. engineering
    Sales Leadership and employee management experience
    Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business solutions
    Outstanding interpersonal skills that enable working relationships externally and internally
    Ability to work across teams to utilize resources and maximize efficiency
    Customer centric mind set, focused on building and improving customer relationships while utilizing value selling
    Domain expert in the application, selection and sale of Centrifugal Compressors and Positive Displacement Blowers.
    Proven track record of exceeding aggressive goals and objectives
    Goal oriented, high energy with strong values
    Strategic account development experience
