Lynette Getchius, R.Ph. Joins the MediCenter Pharmacy Team!
MediCenter Pharmacy is thrilled to welcome Lynette Getchius to their pharmacy team. Lynette is now the pharmacy manager at the MediCenter Pharmacy in Connersville, located inside the Whitewater Valley Urgent Care Clinic. Regina Branagin, R.Ph, will continue to work at the Connersville location as well, but will also spend the majority of her time at the MediCenter Pharmacy in Liberty.
MediCenter Pharmacy stated they are very fortunate Lynette has joined their team. Lynette was born and raised in Connersville, as were her parents. She graduated from Connersville Senior High in 1982. It was after she began working at Economy Drugs in 1988 that she decided to go to pharmacy school to become a pharmacist. Lynette explained “I thought it would be the best for me personally and my ability to help the people of the community as a healthcare advocate.”
While attending the University of Cincinnati, Lynette continued to work evenings at Economy Drugs and Fayette Memorial Hospital. Lynette graduated in 1999 and remained at the hospital and an independent pharmacy in Rushville. For the past eight years, Lynette has been the pharmacist at the local Kroger, until she decided to join the MediCenter Team this past April. Lynette stated “When the opportunity arose to return to my independent pharmacy roots, I jumped at the chance. I’m very happy to be working for Medicenter and hope to give back to the community that has been my home.”
