Name: Batwings over Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary
    Date: August 17, 2019
    Time: 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM EDT
    Event Description:

The Indiana Audubon will be hosting a special bat-filled evening to learn about the other winged residents of Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary's prairies, wetlands, and woodlands.  The event will take place at the sanctuary on Saturday, August 17, starting at 7:30 PM.

Participants will learn about bat species of Indiana, how bat biologists conduct research, and have the chance to see live bats during a nighttime bat encounter. Experienced batbiologists, Julia Wilson and Wes Conway, will net for bats to learn what species occupy Mary Gray Bird Sanctuary. This special bat presentation will begin inside Brooks Hall and netting will begin at dusk. Free camping is available on site for Indiana Audubon members.
