              Event Description:

               

               

              Ivy Tech Connersville is hosting a “Giving Tree” event next Wednesday, 3 – 6 p.m. for community children and their parents/grandparents/teachers/aunts and uncles.
              •          Community Leaders, Police, and Firefighters will read Thanksgiving stories to small children.
              •          Children will play games.
              •          Weather permitting, children can see inside a Police Car and climb around a Fire Truck.
              •          Free hot dogs, popcorn, snacks, water, juice for children and their accompanying adults.
              •          Register needy families you know for a free, hot, Thanksgiving Dinner from Kroger.
              •          Buy a Raffle Ticket for Door Prizes (bookstore sponsored), etc.
              Ivy Tech is also accepting non-perishable food donations at the Connersville Campus.  They will be donated to a local food pantry.  People coming to the Giving Tree program may bring canned goods for the food drive.
