Job Fair: SugarCreek

The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce would like to promote a job fair for Sugar Creek taking place on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The job fair will take place at the John H. Miller Community Center in Robert’s Park at 2900 N. Park Road in Connersville, Indiana.

Company representatives will be available to speak with you and answer questions during the event; they will be accepting applications and resumes. No appointment is needed. This event is free and open to the public, sponsored by the Economic Development Group.

Qualified candidates must be dependable, punctual, hard-working, possess good communication skills, be a team player, able to withstand cold temperatures, at least 18 years of age, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and willing to work overtime and weekends. Previous experience in a food processing or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required. The starting pay is $11 per hour on first shift and $12 per hour on second shift, with a $.75 increase after 90 days. A comprehensive benefit package is also offered. It includes paid holidays, paid vacation, health, life, dental, vision, disability insurance, and 401-K plan with company matching contributions after 90 days of employment.
 

Sugar Creek is located in the Gateway Industrial Park on State Road 1 (located off of I-70 just south of Exit #137), in Cambridge City, Indiana. They currently manufacture various lines of both raw and fully-cooked food products.
