USLA Announces 2017 Promotions

Promotions at Union Savings and Loan
Union Savings and Loan is proud to announce the promotions of several key personnel commencing in January 2017.
Melissa Myers has been promoted to President from her position of Executive Vice President of Lending. Melissa has been an invaluable member of the Union Savings and Loan team since 1986, working successfully in various roles for the bank. She was named Vice President of Lending in 1995, Senior Vice President of Lending in 2011, and then Executive Vice President and named to the Board of Directors in 2015.
Melissa takes the reigns of President from Mark Boehmer, who continues on as USLA’s Chief Executive Officer, as well as serving on USLA’s Board of Directors.
A life-long Connersville resident, Melissa is a 1972 graduate of Connersville High School, and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University. She is married to Larry Myers, and has one son, Brad, his wife Jennifer and 3 granddaughters, as well as 4 step children and 8 step grandchildren. Melissa is very active in the community as a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, where she serves on the Finance Committee, and she is also a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority.
Tim Carsey has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Loan Administration. Tim has 25 years of banking experience, working many years at PNC Bank where he was Consumer Lending Transformation Manager before coming to USLA in 2015 as Business Development Officer. Tim resides here with his wife, Patricia, and they have 2 children, Ryan and Sara.
Amy Hammons has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Business Development. Amy is the Branch Manager of USLA’s very successful 30th Street location. Amy has 24 years of banking experience with USLA. Amy is a graduate of Temple Christian School, and she is very active in the community, serving on the Board of The Link as Treasurer, Chamber of Commerce Board, Altrusa Club of Connersville and Junior Achievement. Amy resides in Connersville, with her husband, Jason, and their 4 children, Kristin Lawson, Makala, Colton, and Ella Hammons.
Amanda Back has been promoted to Vice President of Audit/Compliance. Amanda has 17 years of experience in banking, all with USLA. She is a life-long Fayette County resident, a graduate of Connersville High School, and has an Associates Degree in Business Management from IU East. She is married to Dustin Back, and they have 2 daughters, Kara and Kaitlyn. Amanda is a member of Connersville Baptist Temple.

Union Savings and Loan is Fayette County’s only locally owned and operated bank, founded in Connersville in 1892. The bank has 2 locations in Connersville, 730 Central Avenue, and 500 W 30th Street, as well as a branch in Greenfield.
